Keep Calm & Text The Midwife!

Text The Midwife was created to provide common sense, research-based education to women interested in learning about their reproductive health. We provide women’s reproductive health education in a safe and comfortable setting for all women of all ages, all the way through menopause and beyond. 

Text The Midwife was founded by Kelly Lucas, CNM, in 2023. After working in healthcare in various roles for over 20 years, her expertise has been focused on women’s and maternal/child health for over 13 years. In 2019 she became Certified Nurse Midwife. Kelly is passionate about women’s reproductive health and rights. As a woman of color, she enjoys bringing her midwife and women’s healthcare expertise to the minority community who can often feel unheard in these spaces.

Kelly is the only CNM practicing in Chester county, PA and serves the areas of Chester, Montgomery, and Berks counties.

All deliveries are performed at Phoenixville Hospital.  We do NOT perform home births.
